Bringing the Arts to the Incarcerated

Mission

Art That Serves is a 501(c)3 organization that delivers artistic programs and experiences to the incarcerated.  We believe that art has the capacity to heal and teach, and our work is intentionally designed to create a therapeutic experience for the entire correctional community.

Art That Serves is building a grassroots network of artists and educators that co-create projects with incarcerated populations and their local communities.  We support work that raises awareness, promotes healing, empowers individuals to create change and inspires them to serve in their communities.

We are also actively seeking submissions from service minded artists and teachers who are looking to perform or present inside correctional facilities.
